New Mount Pleasant High School Football Stadium Announces Traffic Pattern, Approved Bags in Advance of First Football Game

High school football is at the heart of our Mount Pleasant Friday nights in the fall. This year we are breaking in a brand new football stadium serving two of our Mount Pleasant high schools, and with that, some safety measures to keep our kids and families and communities safe.

Football Game Traffic Pattern for Carolina Park Neighborhood and Highway 17

Inspector Chip Googe, Mount Pleasant Police Department, announced the following traffic pattern to help get folks into and out of the stadium safely for games:

Are you going to the Wando football game this Friday? Below is what you can expect regarding traffic:

🏈 All traffic exiting out of Warrior Way (Carolina Park Blvd closest to Hwy 17) will be directed left toward Hwy 17.

🏈 All traffic exiting out of Tomahawk Trail (main entrance to the school) will be directed right towards the traffic circle.

🏈 All traffic exiting out of Wando High onto Park Avenue Blvd. will be directed right towards Darrell Creek Trail.

*Student pickup will be in the front of the school. All parents will be directed to the main entrance of the school (Tomahawk Trail).
