Wow! This is an incredible value! With the perfect blend of old world charm and a meticulous renovation incorporating all of the modern amenities you deserve, this fully restored home located in St George is gorgeous. Even before you step inside, the large front porch already makes you feel at home. (the owners told me they sit with their children and sip lemonade and just watch the train go by). As you enter the grand parlor you are greeted with 10' ceilings, a fireplace, and heart pine floors throughout. To the left you will find a music room that is flooded with light (new windows make this home efficient), and flowing to the right leads you into a wonderful dining room, complete with another fireplace, large windowsand period piece lighting in each corner (don't miss this detail in person). The dining room flows into the newly remodeled kitchen with custom cabinets, gas cooktop, double oven, under the counter icemaker and large pantry. This conveniently flows into the den area which has a wine cooler, and is the perfect place to cook and entertain. The first floor master bedroom has plenty of space to stretch out with another fireplace, his and her closets and even more overflow storage. (most older homes like this lack closet storage, not the case here at all). The master bath was tastefully redone and has bench seating, new fixtures, a jetted soaking tub, dual vanities and a separate shower. The craftsman era stairway leads upstairs to a friendly den, 3 large bedrooms, 2 baths (you must see the clawfoot tub upstairs) and the best laundry room you will find in all three counties. There is even room to grow into the third floor attic. Every bedroom has it's own fireplace making for a total of 7 throughout. Surprisingly, the sellers told me their power bill is approximately $350 each month (must be because of the new replacement windows in 2011, new HVAC and roof installed in 2012, and the 2 natural gas water heaters - not flood insurance is required either). The yard has pecan trees, an English garden, outdoor entertaining space with a covered (abandoned) well, and a 400 sqft garage with tons of storage above. Being a stones throw from the story book (Mayberry-like) town of St George, and the mix of grand accompaniments with modern convenience, this home is well worth the visit. See the walk though video, then make a plan to view this fantastic property.
