What You Need To Know About Land Contract Mortgages

Good morning, Greg Flanagan here. Flanagan Home Team.com, Keller Williams Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

I’m talking today here about land contracts, a very seldom used product or strategy. What it does is it allows you to purchase a home over twelve months and then get the financing. Of course, you have to have the seller’s approval and get the seller’s buy in. Normally you have to have a downpayment, a significant downpayment, and you have to have the seller willing to wait twelve months to actually transfer the house to your name. Totally do-able. A more midwestern type of stuff, but it can be done here in the Lowcountry.

If you want more information about it, give me a call at 843-952-4444. Or our preferred lender Matt Mieras at (http://www.atlanticbay.com/MattMieras). Get pre-approved through Matt; he’ll help you out there.

This is Greg Flanagan. My phone number again is 843-952-4444. Have a great day!
