Way to go, Wando Warriors! A few decades ago, I was part of a state award-winning Wando HS Marching Band under the direction of Basil Kerr, now at School of the Arts. Today, I get a little emotional when I see my high school classmates' teenagers stepping it up as an award-winning marching band at the Super Regional and National stages.

Between the incredible music programs in band, orchestra, and chorus at Wando in Mount Pleasant and the charter schools School of the Arts and Allegro Charter School of Music, Charleston is the best place in the state to be for your emerging musical genius children and teenagers! Check out our listings today and let us get you in town and your kids into the best music programs!
