2016 SOME RESOLUTIONS FOR CHARLESTON SC

Best wishes for a healthy, safe and prosperous year. 


Although just a date on the calendar each New Year brings hope, new beginnings, resolutions and changing paradigms for people to embrace. We wish you the best on whatever your mission is this year.  Like many of you my New Year list contains relationship, financial and health goals. 

I resolve to be a better father, husband and friend. I resolved to lose the weight that I've gained in the past 3 years and I resolved to take my business to the next level of financial wellness & customer service satisfaction. 

The first two resolutions have been on my list for years. One can never stop trying to be a better human being. The third resolution began a few months ago while doing my business plan for 2016. 

As I looked back over the plans and goals for 2015 it was clear that I had failed miserably on attaining some fairly lofty goals.  Mind you. I did "alright" but it could have been so much better if I had just been a bit more organized. The clients I helped in 2015 were happy but I'm sure I let some prospective clients down by not staying in touch enough. You see my love in life is helping people. 

When someone calls with a need, whether I know them or not, I need to help solve their problem, more for me than for them. This is my WHY that  the corporate motivators speak of when they ask clients "Why do you do what you do?"   Luckily, I get to help people buying and selling Real Estate.  

Needless to say, my passion gets in the way of working on my business.  In real estate a lot happens behind the scenes. It's not all about showing houses, or putting signs in the ground. There is research,  prospecting calls, follow up calls, marketing calls, volumes of paperwork and systems to keep current.  It's a lot for one person to maintain. 

In the coming month or so I will be hiring an administrative assistant to handle many of my routine daily tasks so i can spend more time on what I do best, marketing and selling homes. If you or someone you know is in the market and meet the qualifications of the position I would love for you to apply. The hiring process will be a slow one, but in the end well worth the time spent finding a unique talent  that will work side by side with me to achieve some hefty goals. 

Have a great 2016. expect a call from me this year, that's one of my goals, call everyone at least once and say hello.
