What once was farm land is now the ever growing bustling neighborhood of Daniel Island SC . Daniel Island is in Berkeley County, (for now...), City of Charleston.

One of the oldest sanctioned teams in the US, The Charleston Battery can be seen "Defending the Baud" in league and tournament play through out the season. An intimate venue makes for great soccer watching.
Blackbaud Stadium hosts many other events while the Battry are away including the Octoberfest and the Charleston Southern Ground Music & food festival in mid October.
